Water Tracker Bottles
Are you getting enough water?
Do you lose track of how much you've actually had in one day?
If you're like me, you strive to drink enough water each day. According to MayoClinic.org, water is your body's principal chemical component and makes up about 50% to 70% of your body weight. Your body depends on water to survive. Just think about that. We are 70% water! That just amazes me because, well, I'm a pretty solid gal. To think that most of me is water is just mind-blowing.

And yet, we are mostly water, so it only makes sense that we replace what has been depleted. We lose water all day long - every time we use the bathroom, through perspiration (and yes, even when you aren't working out!), and simply from breathing. A warmer day or the amount of humidity in the air will also affect how much water you use. Drinking caffeinated beverages will also decrease hydration levels. The more active you are, the more water you lose, so of course, the amount of water we need to drink will vary from individual to individual. A straight eight 8 ounce glasses a day does not work. Water is not a one-size fits all!

Water is not the only option for staying hydrated, but it is perhaps, the healthiest. Drinking other fluids can keep your hydration levels high, but they may come with unwanted sugar, fat, calories, or artificial ingredients.

I'm on a quest to drink more water. According to a few sources, one being WebMD, you should be drinking a ½ ounce to 1 ounce for every pound of body weight. So, if you're 130 pounds (don't I wish!), you would need between 65-130 ounces of water a day. I don't know about you, but I have a hard time keeping track. I generally sip on water all day long, but I tend to forget if I'm on my 2nd, 3rd, or 4th refill. I guess I never really know how much water I'm getting.
So, I decided to do something about it. I invented a water tracking system that is helping me track my water intake each day without fail!
I present to you, the Water Tracker Bottle. See those numbers on the side? When I fill my bottle for the first time, I put the X or O on top of the number 1. Every time I fill my bottle, I move the marker to the next number. Now I have a system for tracking how much water I drink each day to make sure I am keeping my body hydrated!
Brilliant, right? (I am kind of proud of this little invention!)

So what do you think? Pretty cool, right? Well, I'm not keeping these just for myself. I'm ready to share them with you. Here's how you can get one!
